Meditation is bringing the mind home. A mind that prevents us from being present. Meditation is observing your thoughts, your thinking, because thoughts will always be there. However, it’s up to you to follow them or to leave them alone.
Meditation will make you observant. You are increasingly noticing when your attention is leaving the present moment and when it wanders into stories about the future or the past. By meditation you learn to distance yourself from all those thoughts and from your identification with them.
In weekly meditation classes I take you on a journey through your body. Together with breathing, the body is a powerful tool to be present, since they are always available at all times.
